Day 1 Monday, November 10

Four Nights Lodging - Branson, MO

Welcome to Branson. Your group will check into the Thousand Hills Resort Hotel for a four night stay.  Dinner is included this evening  Tonight, your group will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.   

Day 2 Tuesday, November 11

Doug Gabriel Morning Show 

After breakfast at the hotel, your group will enjoy The Doug Gabriel Show. The show  is a tradition of Branson Entertainment and is visited by fans year after year. Winner of numerous awards including, 'Branson's Best Male Vocalist,' Doug Gabriel is sure to win over an audience with great singing, humorous skits, and incredible guitar picking on his one of a kind 'Mufftar', a guitar made from a 1969 Thunderbird muffler. Doug is an amazing instrumentalist and charismatic entertainer that will make guests fall in love with this show.

Chateau on the Lake Resort 

After your show, your group will enjoy lunch at the Chateau on the Lake Resort and the Gingerbread house display.  

Shepherd of the Hills - A Christmas Story 

Tonight, your group will experience the family Christmas classic, A Christmas Story, live at the Playhouse Dinner Theater, in Branson, MO.  Feast on a Christmas meal while watching the hilarious family-favorite tale of Ralphie Parker in the 1940s.  Nine-year-old Ralphie Parker only wants one thing for Christmas: a Red Ryder BB gun. The holy grail of Christmas gifts. But everytime he  mentions it, the common response is “You’ll shoot your eye out!” Join him on a quest filled with iconic moments from the classic movie:  Flick’s tongue stuck to the flagpole, Ralphie’s father winning the “leg lamp”, the school bully, the bunny suit, and many more loved scenes.  The classic A Christmas Story play captures the spirit of the Christmas season. Don’t miss this heartwarming adaptation! 

Day 3 Wednesday, November 12

Titanic Museum Tour  

After breakfast at the hotel, visit to the Titanic Museum Attraction. Your group will be swept up in the excitement, wonder and consequences  of the Titanic story.  See over 400 artifacts and treasures on two decks, walk the Grand Staircase, hear actual survival stories, touch an iceberg, and much more.

Historic Downtown Branson 

After your time at Titanic, explore downtown Branson. Your group will find hundreds of shopping and dining options. Lunch is on your own.  

Hughes Brothers Christmas Dinner & Show  

This evening, enjoy a triumph of everything you want to feel at Christmas Time. The Hughes Brothers and family transport you to a  Christmas Wonderland filled with the season’s best vocal harmonies, exciting dances, inspiring instrumentals, and of course, the enchantment and light-hearted humor that everyone loves about the Hughes Brothers Show. Along with all the festive surprises and treasured family traditions, see Santa in a new light when he explains the symbols of Christmas in the most moving Christmas presentation you’ve ever witnessed. Dinner is included before the show. 

Day 4 Thursday, November 13

Clay Cooper's Christmas Show  

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your morning at the Clay Cooper’s Christmas Show. Clay started performing in Branson at the age of 16  and now celebrates his 34rd season in Branson doing what he loves at his own theatre! His unbelievable talent, hysterical comedy and  down-home personality bring the audience back time and time again. Come see Clay Cooper and his Live Band, 11 Dancers, Third Power,  and Comedian Matt Gumm! There are also outstanding youth entertainers Colton & Caden Cooper! Clay Cooper’s Country Express has  something for everyone with 24 entertainers on stage, great visual effects and a variety of music – old and new country, rock, current hits,  gospel, and patriotic! It’s more than just country! You don’t want to miss it. 

Grand Village Shops  

Enjoy some free time for shopping & lunch on your own at Grand Village in Branson.  The Grand Village contains 27 shops, one of the  largest Christmas Stores in the mid-west, a bakery/tea room, and Mel's Hard Luck Diner. Stores include Back in Time Toys, Grand Glitz,  Dickens Gift Shoppe, Kringles, Peter Engler's Designs, Corky's footwear, Sunrise Leather Shop, Mulberry Mill, and more.  

SIX Christmas Show  

This afternoon you will enjoy Six Show-Christmas.  SIX is a contemporary vocal band on power-mode, features six real brothers, Barry,  Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen and Curtis, who take musical entertainment to a whole new level. Critically acclaimed and dubbed as “an orchestra  of human voices” and “masters of showmanship”, these multi-talented brothers sound like a band using only their mouths. These pioneers of  a cappella are six of ten Knudsen brothers who have been singing contemporary a cappella with incredible beatbox vocals and harmonizing  since they were children, over 40 years in total.

Tonight, your group will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before Sight & Sound.  

Sight & Sound Theater - David 

 With original music inspired by the Psalms, DAVID is a state-of-the-art theatrical experience for the whole family. Witness one of the most  legendary Bible stories as it comes to life with spectacular special effects, massive sets, and live animals in this original stage production. 

Day 5 Friday, November 14

Branson Craft Mall  

After breakfast at the hotel, your group will spend some time shopping at at the Branson Craft Mall.  A16,000-sq.-ft. indoor mall packed with  arts, craft & food stalls, and much more.  

Depart for Home  

After your time at the Branson Craft Mall, your group will begin traveling home with fond memories of Branson.

Day 1 Monday, April 6

 Depart Fort Worth, TX 

 This morning you will meet your group in Forth, Worth, TX and start your Route 66 adventure.  Overnight Lodging - Holiday Inn Express in Santa Rosa, NM  

Tonight you will be staying overnight at the Holiday Inn Express in Santa Rosa, NM. 

Day 2 Tuesday, April 7

 Two Nights Lodging - Drury Inn Flagstaff  

For the next two nights you will be staying at the Drury Inn & Suites in Flagstaff, AZ.

 Black Bart's Dinner and Musical Revue  

Enjoy dinner at Black Bart’s Steakhouse, Saloon and Musical Revue. It’s a great meal and a truly unique dining experience. The talented  waiters and waitresses perform a Musical Revue with songs from the 60s and 70s.  

Day 3 Wednesday, April 8

  Bearizona Wildlife Park 

 Morning sightseeing begins at the new Bearizona Wildlife Park. You’ll see animals the way they should be seen, in a natural environment  and from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle. In this Drive-Thru Park a tour guide will narrate and talk to you about the wide variety  of wildlife and their conservation efforts. You will see bison, big horn sheep, wolves, red fox and otter, badgers and burros, a variety of  bears. Plus a separate display on high country raptors.  Lunch will be on your own.  

Visit The Museum of Northern Arizona  

This afternoon you will visit the Museum of Northern Arizona.  Which was developed as a repository for indigenous material and natural  history specimens from the Colorado Plateau. A trained docent will lead the way through the museum, telling stories and providing insights.  (pending availability)

  Free Time in Downtown Flagstaff  

Next, you will be dropped off at the Flagstaff Visitor Center to map out what you want to do for your free time and dinner on own.  Downtown  Flagstaff, Arizona sits in the western part of the city, and consists of several culturally-connected blocks. The city of Flagstaff has a  downtown culture of local, independent, stores inside historic buildings 

Day 4 Thursday, April 9

  Standin' on the Corner Park 

 It’s a rare person who has not heard the famous line from the Eagles first hit single, Take It Easy. The song has the lyric “standin’ on a  corner in Winslow Arizona, such a fine site to see, it’s a girl my lord in a flatbed Ford, slowin' down to take a look at me.”! 

 One of the main attractions in Winslow is the “Standin’ on the Corner Park”, which features a statue of Jackson Browne standing on a  corner, as well as murals and other artwork depicting the famous song “Take it Easy” by the Eagles. This is a “must see” stop on Route 66. 

 Old Trails Museum 

 After breakfast, you will depart your hotel and head to The Old Trails Museum.  The Old Trails Museum explores Winslow’s history through  in-house and off-site exhibits on the Santa Fe Railway, area ranches and trading posts, the Harvey Girls and La Posada Hotel, U.S. Route  66, Winslow’s historic airport, and much more!  

Free Time and Lunch On Own  

Enjoy some free time in downtown Winslow for shopping and lunch on your own.  

Gallup Cultural Center  

You will start the morning with a visit to the Gallup Cultural Center.  The museum’s exhibits convey the message that Indian cultures are  complex diverse, steeped in tradition, and very much alive. The museum also highlights points in Gallup’s history related to the trains, coal  mining, the Gallup-Intertribal Indian Ceremonial. The museum also hosts a small collection of items and history related to the Navajo Code Talkers. 

 Free time in Gallup, NM  

Then you will have some free time for shopping and explore Gallup on your own.  Here you will find Route 66’s well-preserved, still-vibrant  charms in the form of shops, restaurants, and more. Enjoy time for some shopping and dinner on own.  There are 110 trading posts, shops  and galleries in Gallup, making the town the undisputed Southwestern center for authentic Native American art.  Overnight Lodging Gallup NM  

This evening you will be staying overnight in Gallup, NM.  

Route 66 Neon Sign Tour  

This evening enjoy a driving tour of Route 66 Neon Signs.  Gallup’s stretch of Route 66 (both current and historic) contains some beautiful  neon signs. Features to look out for are first the colors: many are yellow, red, and blue. You’ll also find a pattern in how the signs are  constructed- there is often a script word, a blocky word, and some stand-out letters, especially vertically. 

Day 5 Friday, April 10

  Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway  

Today you will enjoy a ride on the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway, as it transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain at a  distance of 2.7 miles. See some of nature's more dramatic beauty unfold before you.  

Free Time in Old Town Albuquerque  

After your tram ride you will have free time for shopping and lunch on your own in Old Town Albuquerque.  

Route 66 Museum Santa Rosa, NM  

are several Route 66 museums found along the historic route stretching across the country, but none of them quite compare to the  passion instilled in the Route 66 Auto Museum in Santa Rosa. The museum is a haven for car enthusiasts and those interested in re-living a  pivotal era in automobile history.  

Route 66 Auto Museum started as a business for restoring cars, and it has operated for over 40 years. The owner, Bozo Cordova, grew his  passion for vehicles alongside his family to create one of the top local attractions.

Overnight Lodging - Holiday Inn Express in Santa Rosa, NM  

Tonight you will be staying overnight at the Holiday Inn Express in Santa Rosa, NM. 

Day 6 Saturday, April 11

  Route 66 Monument  

When entering Tucumcari from the west, you will pass this sculpture commemorating Route 66.  It is a fun piece and a great opportunity for  a photo.  

Route 66 Mural  

Get your kicks on Route 66!  Enjoy a photo op with the The Legendary Road mural.  

TeePee Curios  

Originally a gas station (back in the 1940s), Tepee Curios is a souvenir shop famed for its teepee entrance and bright neon sign.  This is a  great shop to get your Route 66 souvenirs.  

Texas Route 66 Visitors Center  

On arrival in Amarillo, your group will make a stop at the Texas Route 66 Visitors Center.  This facility offers local art, information, maps and  unique Route 66 memorabilia.  

 Visit the Cadillac Ranch  

Today you will stop at the Cadillac Ranch on Route 66. Here there are ten graffiti-covered cars half-buried, nose-down, facing west "at the  same angle as the Cheops' pyramids". Invented and built by a group of art-hippies imported from San Francisco, their silent partner was  Amarillo billionaire Stanley Marsh 3.  He wanted a piece of public art that would baffle the locals. So ten Caddies were driven into one of  Stanley Marsh 3's fields, and half-buried, nose-down. 

 Overnight Lodging - Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Amarillo West  

This evening you will enjoy an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Amarillo, TX.  Dinner at the Big Texan Steak House  

Dinner is included tonight at the Big Texan Steak Ranch.  Enjoy the atmosphere as well as the food in another unique restaurant along the  iconic Route 66.  

Day 7 Sunday, April 12

  The Giant Cross & The Leaning Tower of Texas  

This morning, visit the nearby town of Groom, TX located on Historic Route 66.  Here you will see a couple unique Route 66 attractions.  The Giant Cross stands at 190 feet tall and is visible up to twenty miles away! Surrounding the base of the cross are life-sized statues of the  14 Stations of the Cross.  

Groom, TX is also home to the Leaning Tower of Texas.  Originally a functioning water tower and slated for demolition, the leaning water  tower was bought by Ralph Britten and moved to serve as a sign for his truck stop and tourist information center. The leaning water tower  still remains a popular target for cameras, and the town of Groom turns on a large colored star mounted on the top around Christmas time.

Day 1 Friday, December 5

 Make Your Own Holiday Ornament  

Vetro Glassblowing Studio & Fine Art Gallery, offers a wide variety of professionally crafted glass art for purchase, ranging from one-of-a kind decorative sculptures to small glass art gifts. Vetro artists enjoy educating the public about this ancient art form through live  demonstrations (when available). And now it's your turn to make your own holiday ornament.  

Grapevine Glockenspiel  

When walking down historic Grapevine, Texas, it’s hard to miss the Glockenspiel Clock Tower. If you come at the right time, you’ll catch a  scene of two nine-foot-tall figures known as the Would-Be Train Robbers duking it out at the top.  

Lunch On Own and Time for Shopping  

Wander down Main Street  Grapevine for lunch on own and do some Christmas shopping 

 Local Winery Tasting  

Take time this afternoon for a local winery stop with a tasting.  

Gaylord Lone Star Christmas - ICE!  

Visit the signature holiday attraction, ICE!, at the Gaylord Texan Resort. You will be amazed by the two-story ice slides and larger-than-life  ice sculptures as you walk through a winter wonderland carved from more than two million pounds of ice.

  Marvel at acres of twinkling lights and decorations, beautiful holiday scenery, a 50-foot tall Christmas tree and life-size Gingerbread Houses.  Plus, there are many holiday activities, shows, and events, including snow tubing and ice skating.  

Holiday Dinner at Gaylord's Texan  

Enjoy a holiday dinner while visiting the Gaylord Texan.  

Depart for home  

At the end of the evening, depart for home with memories of Grapevine A Lone Star Christmas.
