Shepherd of the Hills - A Christmas Story
Tonight, your group will experience the family Christmas classic, A Christmas Story, live at the Playhouse Dinner Theater, in Branson, MO. Feast on a Christmas meal while watching the hilarious family-favorite tale of Ralphie Parker in the 1940s. Nine-year-old Ralphie Parker only wants one thing for Christmas: a Red Ryder BB gun. The holy grail of Christmas gifts. The Hughes Brothers and family transport you to a Christmas Wonderland filled with the season’s best vocal harmonies, exciting dances, inspiring instrumentals, and of course, the enchantment and light-hearted humor that everyone loves about the Hughes Brothers Show. Along with all the festive surprises and treasured family traditions, see Santa in a new light when he explains the symbols of Christmas in the most moving Christmas presentation you’ve ever witnessed. After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy your morning at the Clay Cooper’s Christmas Show. Clay started performing in Branson at the age of 16 and now celebrates his 34rd season in Branson doing what he loves at his own theatre! His unbelievable talent, hysterical comedy and down-home personality bring the audience back time and time again. SIX Christmas Show
This afternoon you will enjoy Six Show-Christmas. SIX is a contemporary vocal band on power-mode, features six real brothers, Barry, Kevin, Lynn, Jak, Owen and Curtis, who take musical entertainment to a whole new level. Critically acclaimed and dubbed as “an orchestra of human voices” and “masters of showmanship”, these multi-talented brothers sound like a band using only their mouths. These pioneers of a cappella are six of ten Knudsen brothers who have been singing contemporary a cappella with incredible beatbox vocals and harmonizing since they were children, over 40 years in total.

Bearizona Wildlife Park
Morning sightseeing begins at the new Bearizona Wildlife Park. You’ll see animals the way they should be seen, in a natural environment and from the comfort and safety of your own vehicle. In this Drive-Thru Park a tour guide will narrate and talk to you about the wide variety of wildlife and their conservation efforts. You will see bison, big horn sheep, wolves, red fox and otter, badgers and burros, a variety of bears. Plus a separate display on high country raptors. Lunch will be on your own.
Visit The Museum of Northern Arizona
This afternoon you will visit the Museum of Northern Arizona. Which was developed as a repository for indigenous material and natural history specimens from the Colorado Plateau. A trained docent will lead the way through the museum, telling stories and providing insights. (pending availability)
Free Time in Downtown Flagstaff
Next, you will be dropped off at the Flagstaff Visitor Center to map out what you want to do for your free time and dinner on own. Downtown Flagstaff, Arizona sits in the western part of the city, and consists of several culturally-connected blocks. The city of Flagstaff has a downtown culture of local, independent, stores inside historic buildings
Standin' on the Corner Park
It’s a rare person who has not heard the famous line from the Eagles first hit single, Take It Easy. The song has the lyric “standin’ on a corner in Winslow Arizona, such a fine site to see, it’s a girl my lord in a flatbed Ford, slowin' down to take a look at me.”!
One of the main attractions in Winslow is the “Standin’ on the Corner Park”, which features a statue of Jackson Browne standing on a corner, as well as murals and other artwork depicting the famous song “Take it Easy” by the Eagles. This is a “must see” stop on Route 66.
Old Trails Museum
After breakfast, you will depart your hotel and head to The Old Trails Museum. The Old Trails Museum explores Winslow’s history through in-house and off-site exhibits on the Santa Fe Railway, area ranches and trading posts, the Harvey Girls and La Posada Hotel, U.S. Route 66, Winslow’s historic airport, and much more!

Gallup Cultural Center
You will start the morning with a visit to the Gallup Cultural Center. The museum’s exhibits convey the message that Indian cultures are complex diverse, steeped in tradition, and very much alive. The museum also highlights points in Gallup’s history related to the trains, coal mining, the Gallup-Intertribal Indian Ceremonial. The museum also hosts a small collection of items and history related to the Navajo Code Talkers.

This evening enjoy a driving tour of Route 66 Neon Signs. Gallup’s stretch of Route 66 (both current and historic) contains some beautiful neon signs. Features to look out for are first the colors: many are yellow, red, and blue. You’ll also find a pattern in how the signs are constructed- there is often a script word, a blocky word, and some stand-out letters, especially vertically.

are several Route 66 museums found along the historic route stretching across the country, but none of them quite compare to the passion instilled in the Route 66 Auto Museum in Santa Rosa. The museum is a haven for car enthusiasts and those interested in re-living a pivotal era in automobile history.
Route 66 Auto Museum started as a business for restoring cars, and it has operated for over 40 years. The owner, Bozo Cordova, grew his passion for vehicles alongside his family to create one of the top local attractions.

On arrival in Amarillo, your group will make a stop at the Texas Route 66 Visitors Center. This facility offers local art, information, maps and unique Route 66 memorabilia.
Visit the Cadillac Ranch
Today you will stop at the Cadillac Ranch on Route 66. Here there are ten graffiti-covered cars half-buried, nose-down, facing west "at the same angle as the Cheops' pyramids". Invented and built by a group of art-hippies imported from San Francisco, their silent partner was Amarillo billionaire Stanley Marsh 3. He wanted a piece of public art that would baffle the locals. So ten Caddies were driven into one of Stanley Marsh 3's fields, and half-buried, nose-down.

The Giant Cross & The Leaning Tower of Texas
This morning, visit the nearby town of Groom, TX located on Historic Route 66. Here you will see a couple unique Route 66 attractions. The Giant Cross stands at 190 feet tall and is visible up to twenty miles away! Surrounding the base of the cross are life-sized statues of the 14 Stations of the Cross.
Groom, TX is also home to the Leaning Tower of Texas. Originally a functioning water tower and slated for demolition, the leaning water tower was bought by Ralph Britten and moved to serve as a sign for his truck stop and tourist information center. The leaning water tower still remains a popular target for cameras, and the town of Groom turns on a large colored star mounted on the top around Christmas time.
